Back to School

So it is time for back to school for everyone. I started back shortly before Labor Day. It seems this year started off in a bit of a hurry and scurry. I finally feel caught up enough that I can come home, relax, and stitch. For a few days I was continually bringing stuff home to work on in the evening. That is one of the nice things about lots of our things being on the computer. This way I can get some things done at home. I guess I am a gluten for punishment, as I took on another supplementary position. This time it is NCA co-chair. The other gal I will be working with is really easy to get along with, so it should all be good. I have to say that so far I have had a wonderful time with this year's students. They seem to be a very pleasant bunch, as well as an extrememly active bunch. They have been working really hard for me.

I have been stitching on my Prairie Schooler ABC piece. I need to get it finished because I now have three more Shepherd's Bush stockings to stitch. Those babies and weddings just keep coming. This will give me something to do at soccer practice, pep band night at the middle school football games etc.

Normally, this wouldn't be a boring post without pictures, just a boring post. I brought the battery charger for my camera home from our Branson trip. When I was unpacking my big Vera bag, I handed the battery charger to Jonathon and said put this with the rest of my camera stuff. The battery was stone-cold dead and I went to get the charger, it was no where to be found. I looked and looked. I asked Jonathon what he did with it and he look at me like I was asking him in Chinese. He didn't remember me asking him to do anything with it, yadda, yadda, yadda. You know middle school minds just don't work like the rest of the world's brains. Anyway, I ordered another one from Amazon. About an hour later I was hanging up the phone and there it was behind a picture frame. Why he put it there I don't have a clue. So, right now the battery is charging and the Amazon order has been canceled.

Our weather has finally cooled off and we had rain off and on all day yesterday. I am so ready for fall and winter I can hardly contain myself.

Until next week.... happy stitching.
